(OTTAWA) - Elizabeth May, Leader of the Green Party of Canada, issued the following statement after learning of multiple attacks in Brussels, Belgium today:
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Brussels following this senseless loss of life,” Ms. May said. “I extend my deepest condolences to the victims’ families and the nation as they mourn, and join them in seeking justice for those responsible.
“As Canadians, we stand with our allies and the international community in opposing terrorism in all its forms," Ms. May concluded.
