OTTAWA – As Leader of the Green Party of Canada, I regret to announce that Jacques Rivard has decided to step down as my Deputy Leader. In his time as Deputy, Jacques brought tremendous energy and commitment to building the Green Party across Canada, but particularly in his home province of Quebec where we have seen the Party's popularity rise to unprecedented levels. I cannot adequately thank him for his efforts or express how much he will be missed.
