SIDNEY, BC - Green Party leader Elizabeth May expressed shock and sympathy at the disturbing news of the dual tragedies in Norway.
While the shootings at the youth camp and the bombing in
downtown Oslo are not confirmed to have been linked, the circumstances
suggest a coordinated attack for unknown and unfathomable political
motivations.
"On behalf of all Canadian Greens, sentiments shared by
all Canadians, we express our heartfelt sympathy to all Norwegians.
This devastating and brutal assault is incomprehensible," said Elizabeth
May, M.P. For Saanich Gulf Islands and leader of the Green Party of
Canada.
